Aamen is a 19-year-old half-human, half-vampire living in present-day Harlem, using mysterious supernatural abilities to protect the neighborhood he calls home. While some see him as a ghost or even a demon, Aamen sees himself as something else entirely—a young man trying to understand why he was born different and what he is meant to become.

But Aamen's search for purpose takes a terrifying turn when his mother finally reveals the truth about his father, Malcolm Wolfe—a legendary vampire who once fought beside Dracula and his army in medieval England during the 1400s.

Now, an ancient vampire faction known as the Court of Nights has returned. After centuries of waiting in the shadows, they have grown stronger and are preparing to unleash a reign of terror that could spread far beyond Harlem and ultimately threaten the entire world.

Caught between two worlds—human and vampire, protector and predator—Aamen must embrace the blood running through his veins and uncover the true purpose behind his existence. But stopping the Court of Nights may require more than defeating them. Aamen may have to confront the darkness within his own bloodline and find a way to bring balance to a war that began centuries before he was born.
